Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Real Frame Sagl collects on this website, why, and what rights you have. It covers www.realframe.ch and the domains that point to it. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website is a landing page. It has no accounts, no logins and no payments. Our test environment at app.realframe.ch is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which applies when you use it.

Who is responsible

Real Frame Sagl, Via alla Roggia 16, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland. Email: info@realframe.me.

What we collect, and when

Browsing this website does not require you to give us any personal data. When you open the contact page, the bot check described below runs. Otherwise we receive personal data only when you send one of the forms below.

Questionnaire

The questionnaire is a Google Form that opens on Google's website. There is one for companies in general and one for hotels, in several languages. Depending on the one you open, it collects:

  • About your business: its name, sector or type, location, number of employees, your role and how long you have worked there, and which systems you use, such as a hotel management system.
  • About your process: your answers on how you handle identity documents today, including anything you write in the free-text questions.
  • If you want to stay in touch (optional): your name, role, email address and phone number, which follow-ups you ticked (a summary of the research, a free consultation, future contact) and, in the German versions, a signature and date.

While you are on Google's website, Google's own privacy policy also applies, for example if you sign in with a Google account to save your progress.

Mail form

  • Name, email address, your message, and whether you want the newsletter.

Newsletter

  • Your email address. You are added to the list only after you confirm by clicking the link we email you.

With the mail form we also record the language of the page you used, so we can reply in it.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To reply to you and prepare a consultation you asked for: pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To carry out our research on how businesses handle identity documents, using your questionnaire answers: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The contact details you give in the questionnaire are used only for the follow-ups you ticked, on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • To send the newsletter: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • To keep the website secure and working, including limiting abusive form submissions by IP address: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or build profiles from it.

Who receives it

We use a small number of providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts this website and processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs.
  • Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox, sends confirmation emails, and holds the newsletter list.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) checks that a form is sent by a person and not a bot. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and does not see what you write in the form. The check runs as soon as you open the contact page, before you send anything.
  • Google (Google Forms) collects and stores the questionnaire answers on our behalf.

These providers may process data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Form submissions: as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, and no longer than 12 months after our last exchange, unless we enter into a contract with you.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Server logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@realframe.me.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the authority in your country of residence.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. See our cookie policy.

Changes

We update this policy when what we collect changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
